My poem is Barter by Sara Teasdale. It is about life and the loveliness it has. The life that we all live has loveliness somewhere, you just have to take some time to find it. The simple things in life are sometimes the best. Like a simple flame from a fire or music that you love.
The best way to say this poem would be to recite it like you love what your talking about. If the poem is about love then you should talk like its what you love. Some acting may be required to recite this poem well.

Winter Break
I am going to stay up late every night, wake up at noon every morning, and go to our family's cabin at Snoqualmie pass. When I go to the cabin, I will go sledding in the 8ft deep snow and snowboard at the resort. I will make a huge snow cave and make a couch and chairs out of snow.

Peotry out loud
Part One
1. Battlefield
2. Yet Do I Marvel
3. Her Head, Insomnia
4. In, Fortuna
Part Two
1. I liked the poem Insomnia because it had the same feel to it that I feel most of the time in my life.
2. I did not like the peom Fortuna because it was hard to understand and it was very repetitive.
3. I would like to choose Insomnia.
4. I personally connected with it because it felt like I was reading what someone else was going through and it was the same thing as what I was going through.
Part Three
1. The Physical presentation part of it would be easiest for me because

Essay Writing
I remember when i had to write a five part paragraph in freshman year. I didn't know what the concrete detail was or what commentaries were supposed to be. My english teacher gave us a worksheet that broke one paragraph into its parts and made it seem really simple. All you had to do for it was fill in the boxes and then put the sentences together. After that, every paragraph i wrote for english class was easier.
My writing skills are not the best and I do not enjoy writing very often. I find it hard to come up with ideas to talk about and find words that put my thoughts onto paper. Every so often i get into a writing state and I don't even think about what I am writing about. Then after a few minutes I look down and see a full page written. It really depends on what I am writing about.

Injustice
In the year of 1857, there was a U.S. Supreme Court case that states all black people, whether slave or free, could never become citizens of the United States. The case of Dred Scott v. Sanford was led by Dred Scott, who was a slave. He tried to hold a case against the Supreme Court to win his freedom. Roger B. Taney, who was a supporter of slavery, told the courts that Scott had no rights to sue because he was black.
Parts of this case are related to the Salem Witch Trials because when Proctor went against the courts saying they had no evidence to convict anyone there of witchcraft, Reverend Parris came back at him and said that they were doing God's work and the people being convicted were witches because if they weren't they would have been set free.

Introduction: American Literature
I believe that the American dream and what it means to be and American has changed throughout the years. The country started out as wanting to have rights for every man in the country. This was something that Great Britain at the time did not have. This has changed drastically in the few hundred years we've been here.
When this country had first started, the majority of the people actually cared about the politics. People voted on what they wanted and who they wanted to help represent them in political debates. They wanted to be sure about their vote when they cast it. Since the country was new they probably didn't want to send the country on the wrong course right from the start.
Now, not a lot of people vote except for the presidential election. Most people only care about the icon of the United States and not what actually affects their daily lives. Votes such as where the taxes are, where funding goes, or some laws aren't very popular for most people. Some people talk about politics but don't know what is really going on because they believe in what they are told by friends and family members. They don't take the time to watch the U.S. Senate debates or hear about what policies are being passed and what they do.
